Ford Mustang EcoBoost 2.3L Precision | Turbonetics High-Performance Drop-In Turbo Upgrade
The Precision Turbonetic High-Performance Drop-In Turbo Upgrade is purpose-built to bolt on like stock to an RWD 2.3L EcoBoost Mustang but offers the power capability you’d expect from a race-spec high-performance turbo kit.
Designed for an ideal blend of response and top-end power in a stock-frame fitment, the billet compressor wheel utilizes their latest generation blade aero with 11 full blades (no splitter) for a max flow rate of 65lb/min. The wastegate is Precision’s high pressure 18 PSI actuator, with an optional Turbosmart Wastegate Actuator available. Compressor Housing retains OEM connections with a 3″ hose coupler inlet, 2″ hose coupler outlet so this is literally a drop-in replacement with big power gains.
Experienced tuners with the right tools can do the installation in only a couple of hours. With tuning and supporting mods, you’ll easily makeover 500whp, without maxing out the boost. Since this turbo doesn’t have to use as much boost to produce these higher power levels, your EcoBoost engine doesn’t have to work as hard, and this results in a longer-lasting healthy engine with no added turbo lag! You can’t go wrong with the 2.3L Precision | Turbonetics High-Performance Turbo Upgrade!
Features
- Direct drop-in fitment. Easy replacement, no adaptors or fabrication needed. Installs without modifications
- Divided twin-scroll configuration for early spool
- Dual Ceramic Ball Bearing for improved throttle response and unmatched durability
- 11 full blade billet compressor wheel, 52mm inducer, 52lb/min max airflow – capable of 500 flywheel HP
- High-efficiency Inconel turbine wheel
- Investment Cast HK30 Stainless turbine housing (designed to withstand high temperatures)
- Ported shroud compressor housing for enhanced compressor map width (low rpm response with increased top-end performance)
